THE ORIGINAL SCREENSAVER II (Screenprint)
The Original Screensaver II, is a variation of my piece "THE ORIGINAL SCREENSAVER" and adds a layer of static and “TV snow”—a reminder of the days when adjusting the rabbit ears was part of the viewing experience.
Until the early 1990s, it was common for television stations to go off-air overnight. When the daily programming ended, the familiar colour bar test pattern would appear—sometimes with a simple “good night” message and an invitation to tune in again in the morning.
